WICKED WIND-BLAST WEDNESDAY!!!! BY Fa'asua Pepe!

Wicked Wind-Blast Wednesday! 11/06/2014 JUNE: What Affected me!!!!! CRASH! BANG! WOOSH! Woah, what was that? Wednesday 11th of June 2014, a huge storm had woken me up in the middle of my sleep. Instantly I stood up and looked out my window. Then a surprised look went up my face. Wow! There were tree branches everywhere. I looked across the street to see the people living across the road from my house and saw that they had their huge tent floating above their house. Suddenly, bit by bit, small pieces of my houses roof came dangling down my window like a volcano erupting it’s fiery rocks except the parts of my roof weren’t on fire. CRASH! My rubbish bins standing outside my window had fell and there were rubbish everywhere. I looked around to see if there were anymore destruction. I thought the storm had finished but then I caught something in the corner of my eye. A huge tree branch came wandering around my driveway. I stood there for a moment figuring out if my mum and dad heard it. So I went to my parents room to check but I soon found out that my parents were still sleeping like little angels. I went back to my room and lay down on my bed. I wanted to sleep but I couldn’t because of that loud ruckus outside. To be honest I was pretty scared myself. I didn’t worry that much. I decided to have one last look. I looked outside but I heard nothing. It had stopped. Then I hopped on my bed and started sleeping! THE END!!!!!! This is about a serious situation in Auckland/NZ 2014. Bad weather has been crossing Auckland, New Zealand in winter. Trees had fallen down on electrical wires. An estimate of 90,000 homes had no power. Police has found out that 3 people had died in this storm. In the morning of this horrible incident people have found tree branches everywhere, glass windows smashed by trees, the wind and power lines. THIS WAS VERY SCARY AND DANGEROUS!!!!!

My Descriptive Writing About My Favourite Person!!!!!

Writing Sample Term 2 2014 28 May My Favourite Person. When my dad hugs me his muscles make me warm and secure that is why he is my favourite person!!!! He takes me everywhere I want to go and he will always love me. I love the way he stands up for me when my mum is angry. He’s also proud of being a tongan like me. Me and my dad are like twins because we both like rugby and we both like the same ice cream flavour which is tropical mango. Mmmmm. My dads hair is short and has a little hill in the front of his head. He’s tall, strong and fast, he also wears his work clothes because he works a night shift till 5:00 in the morning and to lazy and tired to change and his eyes are half closed. He’s got brown eyes and has the same nose as me. My dad is a smart, funny, kind, caring, sporty, a fit kind of person and always has a joke ready to crack. When he’s looking after me it’s like world hunger has disappeared because he takes me out to Burger King, KFC and Mcdonald's! (Which is basically the fast food places!) He pushes me up in school work because he wants me to have a good education and have a great job when I grow up. He tell’s my family to read the bible because it’s the word of our heavenly father and it will make our reading better. He’s always looking on the bright side of things and that is why I love him and he’s my favourite person!!!!!! This is my piece of writing I did in a test and it is about my favourite person, which is my dad! I love him and he loves me. I love you dad.
