What is a blog? WHITE hat

At May Road School, 2 classes

(Rm 15/Rm 14) have been given the privilege to have chromebooks. When we are on our chromebooks we go on something called blogs. Our blogs are a magical place to be. A blog is a website where you select a piece of work from your drive and download it to your wonderful blog. It’s also a place where your other relatives from a different country can see your awesome work and if you look on your blog page, on the left you will see a world map and on that world map you will see a flag and that means someone is on you blog. You can comment on other peoples blogs, also when you post something bad on your blog you can not delete it but your teacher can!

This is my feelings about our blogs: Red Hat Thinking!

I feel proud about my blog because when I post my work on it, my family and friends go on it and see if I have achieved on my school work!(If I do I get Burger King!) I also feel excited because when someone writes a great comment on my blog and I don’t know it’s like a mystery kind of secret!

Green hat thinking!

I can get new ideas from other peoples blogs and then put the ideas in my own words then post it on my page! I could put pictures on my blog and I also can use my blog as a time capsule! If I was a parent now I can also use my blog to remember what I did in the past!

BLACK HAT THINKING!!!

One rule on blogging is that we can not give away private information about ourselves. Also  people can write bad comments on your blog and you might accidently give away private information.

Yellow hat thinking!!!

The good points about blogging is that you can share your ideas with others and it is a good opportunity to show the world what you can do. Also people can make suggestions to improve your work!!!!
